We always suggest a heat protection spray before heat styling, like Lee Stafford Poker Straight Professional Heat Protection With P2FiFTY complex™. For extra shine, try applying a nourishing serum or hair oil through damp hair, too.
If you have time to let your hair air dry a little before blow drying, this means there will be less heat on your hair, which can help prevent damage caused by heat styling.
