Step 1. Apply Lee Stafford For The Love Of Curls Shampoo, formulated without sulphates to deeply cleanse while being gentle on your scalp. Rinse well.

Step 2. Follow up with Lee Stafford For The Love Of Curls Conditioner For Curls & Coils through mid-lengths to ends, leaving on for 1-2 minutes to nourish. Rinse clean.

Step 3. After gently towel drying, spritz Lee Stafford For The Love Of Curls Leave-In Conditioning Moisture Mist through hair, applying in sections to help nourish dry, knotted ends.

Step 4. Detangle wet hair using the Lee Stafford Curl Detangling Comb, helping to smooth hair before air drying.

Step 5. Once dry, for an extra moisture hit on dry ends, work 1-2 pumps of Lee Stafford For The Love of Curls Taming Oil into palms and smooth through mid-lengths to ends.

It's always best to detangle over curly hair while it's wet, as it can be more manageable. Our tip is to glide through knots while you're washing hair in the shower, or apply a hair serum or oil afterwards and work a wide-toothed comb through in sections.

A wide-toothed comb is ideal for gliding through knots in wet hair without pulling, like our Lee Stafford Big In-Shower Comb, which can also be used with conditioner to help detangle. For towel-dried hair, the Lee Stafford Wide Pin Paddle Brush glides through curly hair types 2A to 3C easily.

Using a comb or paddle brush, our tip is to start at the ends first. This is where it tends to get most tangled, so spend a bit of time working through knots here before continuing to the mid-lengths and then roots. Finally, brush through from root to tip to make sure you've smoothed through all the tangles.
