Step 1. Cleanse hair in the shower first with Lee Stafford For The Love Of Curls Shampoo. Made without harsh sulphates, this is gentle on the scalp and hair to avoid frizz. Rinse clean.

Step 2. Work Lee Stafford For The Love Of Curls Conditioner For Curls & Coils through mid-lengths to ends. Let it soak in for 1-2 minutes to moisturise dry locks, then rinse well.

Step 3. Gently squeeze out excess water and smooth Lee Stafford For The Love Of Curls Serum Lotion For Waves, Curls & Coils through hair, applying in sections for even product distribution.

Step 4. Use the Lee Stafford Wide Pin Paddle Brush to comb through hair while wet, delicately detangling ready for air drying or heat styling.

Step 5. Don't forget to look after your brush. Remove stray hairs regularly from bristles, and gently wash with warm water and your favourite Lee Stafford shampoo. Rinse really well and leave to dry naturally overnight, to help keep your brush clean.

It's always best to detangle over curly hair while it's wet, as it can be more manageable. Our tip is to glide through knots while you're washing hair in the shower, or apply a hair serum or oil afterwards and work a wide-toothed comb through in sections.

Using a comb or paddle brush, our tip is to start at the ends first. This is where it tends to get most tangled, so spend a bit of time working through knots here before continuing to the mid-lengths and then roots. Finally, brush through from root to tip to make sure you've smoothed through all the tangles.
