Directions for Use

Step 1. On wash days, cleanse curly hair with Lee Stafford For The Love Of Curls Shampoo, formulated without sulphates to deeply cleanse while being gentle on your scalp. Rinse well.

Step 2. Squeeze out excess water and massage in Lee Stafford For The Love Of Curls Conditioner For Curls & Coils from mid-lengths to tips. Leave in for a few minutes for an extra moisturising treat.

Step 3. Gently towel dry and apply Lee Stafford For The Love Of Curls Custard Cream For Waves & Curls through hair, applying in sections to cover every strand.

Step 4. Style as usual for soft, flexible waves and curls, then comb through your finished style with the Lee Stafford Curl Defining Brush to smooth. Our tip: start at the ends of your hair and work up to the root to avoid frizz and snagging.

Step 5. Don't forget to look after your brush. Remove stray hairs regularly from bristles, and gently wash with warm water and your favourite Lee Stafford shampoo. Rinse really well and leave to dry naturally overnight, to help keep your brush clean.

It's always best to detangle over curly hair while it's wet, as it can be more manageable. Our tip is to glide through knots while you're washing hair in the shower, or apply a hair serum or oil afterwards and work a wide-toothed comb through in sections.

A wide-toothed comb is ideal for gliding through knots in wet hair without pulling, like our Lee Stafford Big In-Shower Comb, which can also be used with conditioner to help detangle. For towel-dried hair, the Lee Stafford Wide Pin Paddle Brush glides through curly hair types 2A to 4C easily.

Using a comb or paddle brush, our tip is to start at the ends first. This is where it tends to get most tangled, so spend a bit of time working through knots here before continuing to the mid-lengths and then roots. Finally, brush through from root to tip to make sure you've smoothed through all the tangles.
